About Us
About JundHaus
We help busy homes feel lighter, cleaner, and easier to live in.
JundHaus began with a simple belief: a home does not need to look perfect to work beautifully. Most people are not searching for a museum-level cleaning routine. They want to know what to do with the pile by the door, the cabinet that never closes, the bathroom that gets messy too fast, or the tiny kitchen that has to do too much.
We are Silas and Juliana Payao, and this site is our way of turning everyday home problems into calm, practical guides. Our wedding photos are here because they capture how we like to build things together: two perspectives, one shared direction, and a lot of attention to the small details that make daily life feel easier.

A calmer kind of home advice
JundHaus is written for readers who want useful answers without pressure or perfectionism. We care about cleaning schedules, storage choices, decluttering decisions, and small-space habits, but we care even more about making those ideas realistic.
Our articles are designed for ordinary homes: rented apartments, shared spaces, family kitchens, busy bathrooms, closets that collect too much, and routines that have to survive real life. We prefer small improvements that can be repeated over dramatic makeovers that only look good for a day.
Why we write together
Silas usually starts with structure: what question the reader is asking, what order the answer should follow, and what details need to be checked. Juliana brings the reader’s eye: does this sound kind, clear, and possible for someone who is tired after work?
That balance shapes the site. We want JundHaus to feel like a helpful note from someone who has thought through the mess before you opened the cabinet.

How we work
We choose topics from everyday questions, organize each article around a specific problem, and write in plain English. We check that the steps are practical, the examples are realistic, and the advice does not require buying unnecessary products.
When a topic involves safety, mold, pests, electrical work, or structural issues, we clearly encourage readers to contact a qualified professional.
Our editorial promise
Our promise is to keep JundHaus useful, calm, and honest. We will not pretend that every home problem has a perfect five-minute fix. We will explain tradeoffs, keep recommendations grounded, and focus on habits that make a home easier to care for over time.
